and Parlez vous Finance (an inter-college debate).
BACKGROUND
Investfest, the festival of investment opportunities is held
each year in Pune. Ever since its inception 1992, the event has attracted
thousands of investors who throng the festival looking for suitable
avenues to invest in. It has been the ideal platform for banks, mutual
funds, leasing companies, portfolio managers, stock exchanges, companies
accepting fixed deposits and others promoting investments to launch
and market their products and services. Investfest has been used
by companies to promote public issues, collect subscriptions, market
credit cards as well as to disburse home loans.
Investfest, Pune is co-organised by Lamcon Vision,
an organization committed to promoting investor awareness and education.
Having carved a niche for itself in the field of finance in Pune city
and having become a well-known name in other major regions of the country,
Lamcon Vision has also extended it's sphere of activities overseas by
expanding Investfest to Dubai in 1998.
And Sakal Papers Ltd, the premier Marathi daily, with a circulation
of over 4 lakhs, reaching out to readers all over Maharashtra
